VVV Moerdijk is now Visit Moerdijk

As of June 1, VVV Moerdijk has a new name: Visit Moerdijk. In the coming months, you will see this name more often; in our brochures, our information points, our social media channels, and our new website, visitmoerdijk.nl, which will go live in July 2022. You can also reach us via the email address visit@moerdijk.nl soon. The old email address vvv@moerdijk.nl will disappear after a short transition period.

With this name change, we particularly want to strengthen our online competitiveness and follow (international) developments in destination marketing. The name VVV has not contributed to the marketing of our “tourist product Moerdijk” for some time. For this reason, we will let go of the brand name VVV and, for the time being, choose a new path under the name Visit Moerdijk.

The way we work remains unchanged. Under the name Visit Moerdijk, we will continue to inspire tourists, visitors, and citizens and inform them on how to plan a fantastic visit to greater Moerdijk.

VVV brand

Not only us but also the VVV leisure brand seeks how to connect with the current developments in the world of leisure. Although our name Visit Moerdijk is here to stay in the future, we will keep a close eye on the developments of VVV Netherlands. We do not rule out the possibility that we will use this brand in the future as a quality brand, allowing visitors to recognize our reliable tourist information.

New website

Are you looking for tourist information? Until the launch of our new website, our old website vvvmoerdijk.nl will stay online. This is where you can find current tourist information, events, and news. Presenting your events remains possible. Our new website visitmoerdijk.nl will be live in early July. Visitors of our old website will automatically be redirected to the relevant pages on our new website, enabling you to always find our information.

Tourist Information Points

Greater Moerdijk has three tourist information points (TIPs): in the visitor center Het Mauritshuis in Willemstad, in the Stad Klundert and at Primera Nagtzaam in Zevenbergen. These TIPs will keep their doors open according to the current opening hours and have various brochures for citizens and guests. You can also go here for questions about visiting greater Moerdijk. Attentive visitors will only notice a few minor name changes in the course of June.

For businesses

Nothing will change for businesses active in the tourist-recreational sector of greater Moerdijk. Under Visit Moerdijk, we will gladly post your activities, locations, events, or news on our website and social media channels. You can always request brochures by contacting visit@moerdijk.nl. Events registration

Until the launch of our new website, nothing will change how organizers can register their events with us. Also, the registered events through the form and the email address evenementen@moerdijk.nl will still be forwarded to our partners, OVZ (business association), Culture Moerdijk, and In de Klundert. On our new website, organizers will soon find a new form that automatizes the registration of events with us.

For larger events, we are looking into the possibility of redirecting them to Visit Brabant for more exposure. This was technically impossible with our old website. The email address may be temporarily unavailable. We are investigating how we can technically continue automatically forwarding the registration forms and the incoming email to our partners. We will communicate as soon as we know more. The events registration method remains unchanged. In the meantime, organizers can always find the most current way we work on our website on the “Events registration” page.
